The exceptional quality of items available at Tossed & Found is what makes the sale such a special experience for our shoppers.

When deciding what to donate, please consider whether you would feel comfortable giving the item to a close friend. Items that are torn, dirty, covered in pet hair, or broken should not be included.

This year, you will not need to provide a copy of the donation form. Unless you need it for your own records, there is no  need to bring it with your donation. We will have an alternative way to  ensure  your League requirement is fulfilled.

Donations will only be accepted at the sale site, 1901 S Bell Street 7th Floor Arlington VA 22202.  Please note that we will only accept donations at the following dates and times:

Driving & Arrival Instructions

Please arrive at the loading dock located directly across the street from Toastique

(244 19th Ct S, Arlington, VA 22202)

There is a parking garage next to the loading dock:

⁠Weekends: The garage may be used for drop offs only, please do not park.

Weekdays: We will be waiting just outside the loading dock, and you will see us.

Do not park in the garage at any time. The gates will close at designated end times, and you will not be able to exit without paying. For this reason, it is critical that you arrive within the time window provided. There will be clear signage directing you where to go.

Metro or Walking

If you are arriving by metro or on foot, please meet us at the loading dock as well. From the metro, it’s about a 3-minute walk if you exit outside instead of using the tunnel.

Pro Tip: If you sign up for a shift, you’re welcome to bring your rummage with you at that time. You’ll receive additional details by email after signing up.

In the event  of inclement weather, please check the JLW Member Exchange on Facebook or email tossedandfound@jlw.org to confirm whether the drop-off is still taking place.

DONATION GUIDELINES

Items that cannot be donated to Tossed & Found due to tears or stains may  may be recycled elsewhere. We encourage you to recycle these items at a textile recycling bin or your local MOM’s Organic Market.
