JLW Staff
The JLW staff support our community through development strategies, financial reporting, placement of members into committees, status of members, and obligation fulfillment. Our staff also provides support for JLW Leaders and administrative support to the Board of Directors while overseeing the creation of the Ballot for approval of JLW Leaders.
Veronica Di Feo, Administrative Director

Veronica’s primary responsibilities at the League include supporting JLW development strategies and financial reporting. Collaborating with members to accomplish JLW’s mission is part of what she enjoys most of her work.
With a degree in Arts from NYU, Veronica has focused her career on administrative systems and strategies that have helped businesses succeed and grow.
When not at JLW Headquarters Veronica can be found at an independent movie theater or bookstore, discovering new restaurants in DC, or spending time with her family locally and abroad. Raised between the U.S., Italy and Switzerland, Veronica called NYC home for 15 years before moving back to her hometown in Washington, D.C. where she lives with her partner, Jeffrey.
Katy Longworth, Membership & Communications Director
Katy provides support for JLW Members in relation to placement, status, dues, transfers, and obligation fulfillment. She also provides administrative support for JLW Leaders. Katy’s favorite part about working at JLW is being able to provide support that allows the JLW volunteers to spend their time and energy in ways that directly impact the DC Community and fulfill the JLW mission.
In her free time, Katy enjoys cooking new recipes, exploring the city, and traveling. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Katy attended Oklahoma State University. She has a BS in Health Education & Promotion with an emphasis on exercise and a Minor in Business Management. Katy was married in 2009 and has lived in Fort Worth, Texas; Amman, Jordan; Arlington, Virginia; and Chicago, Illinois in the last 10 years. They welcomed their son, Kaden, in March 2018.
Margot Watts, Operations, Communications, & Technology Coordinator

Margot Watts supports JLW’s operations through providing full time in-person assistance for all who come by the Loughborough House. She works closely with multiple councils and committees to facilitate member communications, vendor payments, contract completion, and room reservations for evening meetings held at the house. Margot is the first face you see when entering the office and is happy to help all who come by.
Outside of work, Margot spends her time enjoying the scenery in and around DC, loves the Botanic Gardens and tries to spend all of her summer time in a body of water. Originally from Seattle, WA, she moved to DC after graduating in 2023 from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of General Studies and a Minor in French to start her professional career and explore a new part of the country.
Kathleen Petreski, Accounting & Finance Lead

Kathleen serves JLW as the Accounting & Finance Lead, overseeing the League’s fiscal needs by managing the monthly close, coordinating audits and compliance, and supporting strong financial processes. A passionate Junior League member beginning in Dallas and since 2020 in Washington, D.C., Kathleen is proud to contribute as both a staff member and volunteer.
Originally from a ranch near Canadian, Texas, Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from Baylor University. She now lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Vlad, and their two young sons, Gideon and Benedict. When not busy with her family or work, Kathleen loves to read epic fantasy, take lazy strolls near the Potomac, and explore the varied cuisines of the DMV.
Sage Bauer, Fund Management System Specialist
Sage Bauer comes to JLW with over 20 years of experience managing advocacy and fundraising databases to oversee JLW’s donor records. She is thrilled to promote JLW’s mission to empower women’s leadership and wants to support programs that improve the lives of DC’s women and children.
Initially, Sage worked for the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence to promote legislation that would empower and assist survivors of domestic violence. In 2010, Sage came to Washington, DC, and refocused her career to promote improved access to health care. She has a dual bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Bucknell University.
During her free time, Sage is the humble servant of two cats and, when they tire of her presence, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and partner. She can often be found at a local restaurant reading a trashy romance novel.
