Become a Table Decorator for The Art of Entertaining 2026!

The Junior League of Washington (JLW) invites designers, florists, artists, stylists, creative businesses, and anyone who loves tablescaping to apply as table decorators for the third annual The Art of Entertaining on May 1, 2026, hosted at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

This one-of-a-kind tablescapes event celebrates the art of hosting through inspired design, immersive experiences, and beautifully styled tables. Each year, more than 400 attendees — including community leaders, philanthropists, and design enthusiasts — explore the event’s creative displays.

Why Participate as a Decorator

As a featured table decorator, you will have the opportunity to present your work to an influential audience while supporting the Junior League of Washington’s mission to advance women’s leadership and community impact.

Your $350 decorator fee directly supports JLW’s community programs and includes:

Two tickets to The Art of Entertaining ($372 value)
Feature in the event program, including your company logo/your photo, and website link
Custom table signage with your name or business name and optional QR code
Eligibility for the “Best Table Award”
Professional photography of your tablescape and access to the photos
Social media and recognition on the JLW website
Exposure to 400+ event guests and 2,300+ JLW members

Design inspiration can come from anywhere – fine china, travel, floral artistry, fashion, a season, or a bold, creative theme. All styles are welcome.

How to Apply

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. To apply, submit your mood board and tablescape concept using the link below. A member of The Art of Entertaining Committee will contact you within two weeks of submission.
